- The link above is a poster that summarizes the a project titles Exploring Databases. This project is a real life example of authentic research happening in education. This project dealt with students researching information, gathering and analyzing real life data (from adult smokers and nonsmokers), and answering questions they had initially posed.
- very broad book about the relationship between research and education. I read it briefly and it seems to be a little too broad from my topic but I plan on using it as a reference.

- This book is split up into 5 main chapters, but after skimming the Table of Contents and each chapter, I think only chapters 2 (ideas about how to incorporate research into the classroom), 3 (examples of research in the classroom, ie: case studies), and 5 (results of the CarboSchool experience and evaluations of success/educational impact).

- This website is very insightful. It explains that it links secondary schools with scientific researchers (from industry) and creates a partnership that allows students to conduct experiments regarding the climate and global warming.
